How to set up Bio

Give viewers a single, memorable link that lists every channel, social account and store you want them to find: Twitch, YouTube, Discord, X, TikTok and more: styled to match your brand.

Step by step

  1. 1

Sign in and claim your handle

Open the Streamities dashboard and set up Bio. Your handle is the address of the page, so pick the one people already know you by.

  2. 2

    Add your links

Your socials, your schedule, your shop — whatever belongs in one place. The page updates the moment you save, so keeping it current takes seconds.

  3. 3

Put the URL in your bio

Copy your page's address and paste it into the link field on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or X. That is the whole setup: Bio is a hosted page, not an overlay, so there is nothing to add to OBS.

Nothing to add to OBS

Bio is a hosted page with its own address, not an overlay. It belongs in the link field of your platform profile, not in an OBS scene.

Good to know

One link to share anywhere

Drop it in your Twitch panel, YouTube description, or bio: it stays up to date from your dashboard.

Every platform in one place

List as many channels and socials as you want, each with its own icon and color.

Matches your brand

Customize the title, bio and colors so the page looks like an extension of your stream.

If it doesn't show up

The source is blank or black+

Refresh the source (right-click → Refresh) and check that the URL was pasted in full. A source that is black on first load and fine after a refresh is usually hardware acceleration — enable it under Settings → Advanced in OBS.

It worked, then stopped updating+

Almost always "Shutdown source when not visible". With it on, OBS kills the page whenever you switch scenes and the live connection goes with it. Turn it off in the source properties.

The text looks blurry+

The source is being scaled. Reset the transform (right-click → Transform → Reset Transform) and set the width and height in the source properties instead — 0 × 0 is the size to start from.

It's the wrong size in my scene+

Change Width and Height in the source properties rather than dragging the corner handles. Dragging scales the rendered image; the properties change what gets rendered.

Bio: common questions

Is Bio free?+

Yes. Every plan includes one Bio widget, live updates and the default look included. Creator+ adds unlimited widgets of every type, plus full styling, animations and the premium templates.

Where does Bio actually go?+

In your profile's link field, not in a scene. Bio is a hosted page with its own address, which you paste into your bio on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok or Instagram.

Does Bio work with Streamlabs and XSplit?+

Yes. Bio is a normal web page, so it works in any streaming software with a browser or web overlay source — OBS Studio, Streamlabs, XSplit and the rest.

How long does Bio take to set up?+

A couple of minutes. Create it in the dashboard, copy its URL, paste it into a source. Styling can happen later, live, without touching OBS again.

Do I need to install a plugin?+

No. There is nothing to download and no plugin to keep updated — Bio is one URL, and it updates itself on our side.
